Hello hello!

We are back to a normal week here at work so thankfully we are also back to normal Bachelorette scheduling as well (although what even is normal in this franchise?)

As well as a reminder to fill out your brackets for tonight’s episode, I owe you an email for last week! I was too busy with Thanksgiving, seeing my parent’s dog again, and crying over the fact that Dr. Joe was ripped from my life (yet somehow Ed – ED??? – is still in this competition). For those also suffering from missing Joe, EW wrote a fun article interviewing him: Bachelorette heartthrob Joe Park on being the purest soul ever.

But onto us, the most important contestants in this show, obviously. Also, think about the number of incredible ‘job titles we would have. A professional grilling and smoker enthusiast, the reality show guru, and me, the Bachelor meme collector. Feel free to submit your own job titles (especially the professional lurkers not participating in the bracket but on the email chain).

I hope also that Brendan, Ivan, or Zac C. gets selected as the final choice because we have all apparently gone all in on one of them being the winner in terms of our final rose picks.

In terms of special questions, last week we had:

Which of the following phrases will be sad first during the episode?

Answer: “Here for the Right Reason” – Ed, 1:30 in

It was not smokeshow, regardless of had bad Chasen wanted to make it a thing.

Which of these contestant’s names will Tayshia say first during the episode?

Answer: Noah. If you shave your face for the Bachelorette you get first out of the gate status. Also we need a dude guaranteed to start a fight on command if needed.

Will baby Carlos make an appearance during this episode?

Answer: No. Although Ed did go to Chris Harrison’s room at 2:30am – he said it was to see Tayshia, but was it really? Maybe he just missed the little dude.

Does Tayshia send a contestant home for causing drama, outside of a rose ceremony?

Answer: No

Although she should have sent some of the dudes home for their terrible songwriting (or “rapping” if you asked Bennett) skills.

Also want to call out that the Bachelorette actually did something pretty great on this previous episode! Jokes aside Tayshia and Ivan had a serious conversation about Black Lives Matter, police brutality, George Floyd, and abuse in prison systems. ABC is not known for taking a stance on something that should be an easy decision as to what to support and while they are still deep in the negatives in terms of ‘goodness’ it was great to see and hear more serious conversations discussed and broadcast.

Until later this week when I update with tonight’s content!
