Good morning Bachelorette Bracket!

This week is a funky week in the world of Bachelor Nation because we have not one but TWO episodes this week (one tonight and one tomorrow). Despite this you only need to fill out your bracket once, get excited for more questions that cover both the next La Quinta episode as well as the Men Tell All.

As we get down to the final few episodes, this is where we are getting real close. Unless you’re our leading contestant who is leaps and bounds ahead of us (and in the 98% percentile). But second place is a two way tie, so we can cheer for different spots on the podium!

For a quick catchup on last week, we said goodbye to songwriting king Demar, constantly lost Ed, and Spencer, the worst-performing first impression rose in Bachelor history (remember him? no one else does since we haven’t seen him in maybe three episodes so you’re good). Also, fun fact, while on Ellen, Tayshia said that she had the most awkward conversation of her entire “journey” with Spencer which likely contributed to his early departure. SHOW US THE TAPES ABC PRODUCERS!

When looking at the specialty questions from last week, we had:

How many attendees of a group date will be shown shirtless during this episode?

Answer: 0

I know, shocking. But apparently while some events – like dodgeball – “make sense” to do shirtless, we can’t have a shirtless lie detector test because we are ~sErIoUs~ about the truth.

For the record, this test seemed super legit.

Which of the following will happen first during the episode?

Answer: Bennett says emotional intelligence

And here we thought that would send him home! But alas, it appears he is throwing an ‘I love you’ Hail Mary we shall see the results of today.

What an episode for facial expressions.

Will there be a musical guest?

Answer: Yes

Truthfully I don’t remember there being a musical guest even after re-reading a recap so here’s a random meme I found unrelated to this question.

Will Ben finally get a one-on-one?

Answer: Yes

And we continue to see the men stepping up to share deeply intimate and personal stories! And instead of handling it like something to apologize for or like a character defect holding them back for love, ABC actually airs interesting and important conversations giving them the seriousness and respect they are due. I continue to be impressed as they do the bare minimum.

But don’t worry, Ben isn’t the only 1on1 happening before the rose ceremony, we get one with Blake tonight as well.

That’s all from me! Tonight we’ll hopefully get a lot of drama, a little bit of emotional maturity, and maybe even the return of Chris Harrison.

Now I’m off to my day off, see you tomorrow / next week / whenever I get around to writing the next recap!
